Our roots

The power of altitude and the strength of the countryside.

We were born in the mountains of Espírito Santo, and on the slopes and valleys of the state Agroplantec turned a challenging topography into its greatest competitive advantage. Growing at altitudes ranging from 430 to 1,100 meters provides unique temperature ranges, fertile soils and clear spring water, creating perfect conditions for fruit with firm texture, intense color and incomparable flavor.

For five decades, we have combined the tradition of those who love the land with the technical precision of modern agronomic engineering, ensuring that the freshness harvested in the morning reaches Brazilian tables with full biological integrity.

Own production in 10 municipalities

Our DNA

Premium Long-Life Tomato.

Producing a quality long-life tomato is challenging. It all starts in the field, with rigorous care in plant management and nutrition — and ends where it matters most: on Brazilian tables.

Each fruit is grown to offer maximum post-harvest resistance, thick flesh and balanced flavor. A tomato that arrives firm, beautiful and pleasing to the palate.

The care continues after harvest. Our packing house, located in the mountains of Espírito Santo, has its own cold storage and a processing line that grades each tomato by color, size and weight. The result is a standardized, traceable product with genuine freshness.

Packing House: technology, scale and flow capacity

Strategically located in the Alto Caxixe horticultural hub, our Packing House centralizes all production from 10 municipalities. With a modern industrial layout and automated washing, drying and sorting lines, the plant operates at a rated capacity of 600 boxes of tomatoes per hour, enabling dynamic processing and fast shipping.

Operational pillars of the facility

  • Static cold storage capacity: industrial refrigeration system able to store up to 10,000 boxes at once, providing a logistics buffer to sustain daily deliveries even during weather fluctuations.
  • Optoelectronic grading: fruit sorted according to size, color and density specifications.
  • Exclusive operating window: the maximum distance between any field and the processing unit is 170 km, so crops harvested in the early hours of the day are washed, sorted, packed and chilled on the same day.

Integrated portfolio — fruits, vegetables, greens, roots and tubers

Beyond Tomatoes: a complete product line.

Every product in the Agroplantec portfolio carries the same quality signature: altitude, technical rigor, a guaranteed cold chain and full traceability. We offer our business partners the convenience of a single reliable supplier to diversify their fresh produce mix.

Origin and production

Before it is a product, our ginger is history. In Santa Maria de Jetibá — Brazil's largest center of Pomeranian settlement — generations of families have turned mountain slopes into fertile land. The volcanic soil and mountain microclimate yield thick rhizomes, uniform fibers and a vibrant golden color.

From harvest to packing, every step follows the strictest phytosanitary protocols of the international market. Pomeranian heritage and technical precision in every rhizome.

“Generations grow it. The world recognizes it.”

“Heritage that is cultivated. Technology that is exported.”
